Thoughts of an insomniac

Alright. Giving this blog a second try.. Not that my first try was very dedicated. 

Here is a list of things I like about this summer:
1. My summer playlist is perfect.
2. There is a puppy in my house.
3. I'm finally learning how to drive!

And that's it... rather short, isn't it? I was given so many opportunities to spend this summer differently, yet I didn't carry through with any of them; I'm not quite sure why I did that. My family says it was to make money - insisting that it is high time I learn the importance of income. 

I completely understand and appreciate all that money provides for me in life, and I realize the importance of gaining work experience for the future. Thus, when I say that this natural obsession with money is not a part of me, do not consider me merely naïve. I simply think there is more to life than obsessing over money.

I wish people worked towards goals and dreams, and not the next paycheck. 

Yes. I gave in.

I know. Just about everybody and their dog has a blog now... But. Regardless. This in not me trying to be hip, or in. This is simply an outlet for what's going on in my life. I'm not publishing this to be read, but if it is, so be it.
